When travelling to Australia, you will likely hear some slang for Australian words that you will not know until somebody tells you. In terms of flatulence, Australians have a funny way of asking who did it. If you hear someone say “Who opened their lunch?” and it isn’t lunch time, then it is likely to say that they smell something bad and want to know who it was.

A “mozzie” is a mosquito! And a “middie” is a 285ml. Glass of beer. If you hear the term “mystery bag”, it could be someone referring to a sausage.
